red general FH

i just got my first flowerhorn and he is called a red general,atleast that is what he was sold as, he is only about 3.5 inches and i really like the way he looks for having had a bad time in shipping with a busted bag. but what i was wondering is if someone could give me some info on this red general species and maybe some pics of a few and i will get pics of mine up as soon as i give him time to get settled in and not so camera shy

Red General is a made up name bro. People do that to get higher price for a fish with a cool sounding name. Second FH are hybrids so there is no "species". They are a mix of south/central american cichlids. Post some pictures of your fish and we can tell you what it really is. More than likely it's a ZZ (zhen zhou).

Its kind of funny some of the names you see on FHs. Super Red Kungfu Fighting Dragon Monkey Flowerhorn.. etc.

WELL I GOT A FEW PICS BUT FOR SOME REASON MY CAMERA WAS FUZZY LOOKING AND HE IS ONLY ABOUT 3.5 INCHES SO I HAD TO GET HIM IN A NET AGAINST THE GLASS TO GET PICS CAUSE FOR SOME REASON HE HATES A CAMERA
