i am going to start a shrimp tank and i am quite interested in the red goldflake shrimp, i know guppies/endlers will do well with them because the goldflakes are the largest of the Sulawesi shrimps and guppies will do well with the heat and high ph. But what other fish could i keep? or is that about it.

Since they like high alkalinity, warmer temps, and high PH it does seem options maybe rather limited...
What are you planning on doing with the tank though? coz i've seen a lot of people here who keep Sulawesi shrimp as a shrimp only display tank with a few varieties of Sulawesi shrimp species...
And since there are i think at least 4 or 5 different colors and patterns to choose from, they can on their own make for quite a nice display imo...

well I like to get as much of a variety as I can with my tanks. Guppies and goldflake tank would be quite a show of color though even if only those two species. But you are right I can also do a shrimp only tank with other Sulawesi shrimp, I would not trust guppies with the smaller shrimp species though.
