Red hook silver dollar and giant red tail fighting

Dont know what to do guys!

I have a 210 gallon with some oddballs... the red tail is still a juvie... about 8 or 9 inches long... same size as my red hook ,and goes after the silver dollar sometimes visciously!
But every time he goes after the SD he gets torn up fins since the SD is an adult... why would he even bother knowing he get his ass handed to him every time... bigger problem is the gourami grows fast and once hes doubled in size I dont see it being good for the SD

On a bit of a side note, how long did it take to grow out the red hooks to adult size?

Lol if one hasto go itll be the red hook... I got the red tail by luck... never see them anywhere from where I live!

I actually picked up the red hook from my lfs at this size... was alone and already this size... it may have grown a bit in my care and def fattened up but no clue how long it would take to put on this kind of size.. maybe a couple years? Sorry brother
