Can anyone tell me if they have any problems breeding red hump geo's i plan to start a species tank and hope at least two will pair off!!

Get multiple females for your male. they spawn at a very small size, mouthbrood the eggs, and females will have synchronized spawnings after awhile. Very easy fish to keep/breed... males somewhat aggressive and will constantly chase females.
ok i have a 180 litre tank so i'm talkin what, 1 male 4 females? Would i need to move the females into a secondary tank til she releases the fry?

Get one male and several females like suggested, they are easy to breed. Yes, one male, 4 to five females sounds good.
I have my female steindachneri and her fry in a separate 10 gallon tank. When would you recommend that I return the female to the main tank and raise the fry in the 10 gallon? She released them about 5-6 days ago.
