Not an uncommon cichlid but super entertaining. Can't believe I've never owned any before. Very african mbuna like in behaviour.

Nice pair, but not sure how long they will last w/ the mbuna. They seem to be holding their own for now.

Its my quarantine tank....eventually they get their own space.

Yeah they are just awesome to watch. I bought a pair and the male was quite the bully so I hadded 3 more females. Impressive fish.

Definitely an awesome fish and thats a good looking pair you have there.

I've got 5 of them swimming around in my display tank to clean up after my messy eaters. They have tons of personality and aren't shy at all.

Totally agree...the colours the males get is just awesome. Going to be moving them up into a larger tank soon...male is pretty hard on my females and I have 4.
