Red in eyes question

Sorry about the pic I Know it's not the best. I've found its easier with these quick little guys to take a short vid and screen shot from that lol amateur..

Flowerhorns are cross bred so much that some kamfa will have red eyes as well but red eyes are normal.

what whould the best feed be for these little guys, Two FH's the same size and one Texas. the texas is a bit bigger and eats cichlid pellets very well but the little fry seem to pic a pellet up spit it out again and again until they break it up. Are they getting the propery amount of food. I also put a pinch of flakes and dried blood worms in with them?
