Red Isletas 4-13-09

[Mad About Cichlids]

His hump went down during move at beginning of this month. His hump is not as big as other's Red Isletas but it's slowly growing.

This guy is quite shy so you can say he's not the best eater.

Mine has just about completely lost his hump
and he is in a community with 4 Xilo's, 3 Uro's, 2 oscars
The Xilo's and Uro's are smaller than he is, but the oscars are a bit larger.
He does not seem at all intimidated by the oscars, in fact they are quite timid.

Don't know, even the females of this species seem to get hump. How long have you had yours? Mines wasn't too comfortable by himself so I added some males convicts to keep him company.
