Well after only 2 weeks and showing breeding colors from the female she finally laid eggs on the males side in his pot. Only problem is when she left the pot or he chased her out, the male would return to the pot and eat the eggs as she laid them. Not what I was hoping for but its a step in the right direction and hopefully he figures it out next time she does it. She still has her breeding colors and tube out so she may not be done yet. Stay tuned for more updates and pics...

2nd attempt ended with the male eating the eggs again so no real change. Male is still skiddish and pushes the female around alot

This male is really getting on my nerves. Almost 2 months I've had him and he's still extremely skiddish. Haven't really seen him eat either. I'm over the fact that they probly won't breed either. My female is the one who was involved in that viscious lungfish attack and I'm 100% sure she's not gonna grow any larger than the 5-6 inches is right now due to her injuries.

Just can't get over the fact that this is the most skiddish amph I've ever seen or had
