Red Jewel and Convict fry in same tank

both my jewels and a pair of covicts had fry in my 125gal

I sucked out all the fry and put them together in a 10gal tank by themselves....

question is.... will there be harmoney while they're little???

Maybe? Lol they're both pretty aggressive but they should offset each other and be alright.
How long are they staying in the 10g?

that is a good question. how big do they need to be before I can get rid of them... I'm not going to use them for feeders for myself..

maybe the LFS will give some credit for the fry when they get bigger... I think there is aprox 250-300 fry right now.... and all are eating the First Bites... feeding them 4 times a day and doing 25% WC daily...

I think 2" is a bit to much, at least for convicts, most convicts sold around here are about 1", but I've seen smaller than that.
