Is this a hybrid of a red SH and convict? That would be intresting to see!

They are an isolated strain that is local specific. Very nice looking fish.
I am not sure of the area. What I have heard is that the fish were found in a land locked area of the amazon along with some other slightly mutated catfish.

The theory is that these fish were evolving based on an isolated population.
