yeah they loook fake but they look way better than a blood parrot in my opinion i have a bllood parrot just cuz my mom likes it i rather replace the bp with a MAMAS so we can both be happy, also it reminds me of a mammoth

thesew things are way better than blood parrot

red mammons are awesome but can be very pricey, at least for good quality ones. Sometimes they just turn out looking like big parrots.

I've never seen these before. They are nicer looking than the blood parrots.

Check out happybreedfarm.com

Real mammons/ingots come microchiped with certificates just like asian arowanas.

A few years ago a lfs in the Toronto area imported dozens of these from Taiwan. I bought six @ 6"+ A year and a half later I was down to 4 @ 6"+

Turns out they did'nt grow for other customers or the lfs either. The farm claimed there was something wrong with the water here. These fish are supposed to get to 12" within a year. A friend who bought eight was lucky (?) no losses and two reached 9".

SDC10393.JPGI took my duds back and was given six king kong parrots, straight exchange (the most expensive kkp on earth, lol) The three biggest are now 9"+, super red, and I'm happy.

Good luck with watever you decide.

is dat red mamon or kkp in da pic and how much does happy farm sell em for cuz i wanna replace my blood parrot with a kkp or red mamom

The parrots in the picture are KKP. If you find any happybreed parrots they will be $$$ Happybreed farms does not sell to the public. They save their best stock for the Asian market and what little makes it to North America is low grade. "Water" is correct, not only does happybreed ship only males, but their breeding formula is a closely guarded secret.

Imo for the price of one Mammon you could pick up 4 to 6 KKP and grow them out for yourself, keeping the nicest when the're grow and sell the rest.
