I noticed just three days ago my Bichir developed this red mark on his mouth? My water parameters are fine and all my other bichirs in the tank are fine. Im not sure if its a Burn, Fungal infection, or Sore.

what aere his tankmates? It's probably a physical injury. Do a 50% WC and add salt.

Two other sen. bichirs half his size, 4 centpoma, two angelfish, parrot fish, vampire pleco, and a eclipse catfish. He likes to at times harass the catfish. I wouldnt be suprized if the catfish sharp fin got him.

I think I got a culprit! The vampire pleco.

Remove the pleco ASAP. Plecos suck on the coats on the bichirs and cause extensive damage to their slime coats and that will cause infections.

help he got worse!
he's not eaten for days, he has red markings all over his belly and underhead, he isn't swimming, and he has a cotton/moldy substance growing from his gills, his body color lost all its definition basically grey with darker grey where he should be black please help he is my pride and joy x
