anybody seen or heard of these oscars before? i was sold a pair of these as 'red mosaics' when they was 2'' and was going to sell them. but, im begining to like them so decided to keep them in a new tank by themselves and try to breed them with tigers.

thats what i thought. fancy name = fancy price tag. although it does look different to a red oscar cos its got those 'mosaicy' flashes to their sides and a snake pattern on their tail fin. i might get my money back and sell them on to a naive buyer. . .maybe retitle it ' red snake skin oscar' haha
 
I'm a new member of MFK. I joined mainly because I am interested in purchasing an arowana. Does anybody know of a reputable dealer to do business with. I'm having trouble finding them on the internet. A response would be appreciated. Thanks.

They look like a red and tiger oscar to me.
