Red Oscar Breeding Project

I just ordered 6x Red Oscars, i am planning on breeding them. I will grow them out in a 100g Juwel Rio tank.
When are they large enough to breed?

I have 3 tanks for fry ready (now stocked with guppies, crayfish and ancistrus)

3x 15g tanks.

Tankmates with the O's will be:

1x Tyre Track Eel
1x Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus pleco (L-001, L022)
1x Pangasius Sanitwongsei (Paroon Shark)

If i see any trouble with the other tank mates or when the Paroon will get too big the fish will imedietly be removed from the tank.
And when i have a fullgrown pair, they will have the tank by them self.

Will post pics as soon as the O's arrive.
What do you think, any advice would be great on spawning them.

Will 100G be enough for 6 Os?
As far as I know O demand 55G each. I think you should be upgrading to bigger tank otherwise your tank will end up with territorial fights.

not enough tank at all not even close
u need something alot bigger and my o's are at 8" and 5.5" and wont spawn
it takes a long time O's are tricky fish

the 100gal could be big enough for the pair you will have to re home the rest though

Oh sorry i forgot that, when i have a decent pair, the rest will OFCOURSE go.

I think to get them breeding they will require a bigger tank. I've seen people try it in a 240 and fail but I knew this guy with a 500gallon (odd size) that popped out fry once a month.
