My red oscar won't eat. This is strange as it is usually a greedy fish. The only thing my oscar will accept is hikari cichlid gold but this is rarely and I feel that just this won't give my oscar enough vitamins and nutrients. My oscar has hole in the head and is currently being treated with metro as well.

when they are treated with Metro, they don't like to eat. Which is always irritating because it works best if added to their food. So if you are treating the whole tank, when the round of metro is over, and its all removed with carbon. He'll start eating again. It messes up their appetite.

That exact thing happened to me once. Treated the tank with metro, Oscar stopped eating. When I finished the treatment and removed the meds, he started eating right away.

Oh, I never knew that before. Thanks for the help. :D
