i have 3 red parrot cichlids in a tank together (30x12x15) with 1 smallish bit of bogwood and i went out to the tank earlier and there was loads of eggs on the wood with 2 of them protecting it so i removed the other 1 and put it in a tank of it's own well the other 2 are still gaurding the eggs a few of them are white and the rest are a nearly see through colour does this mean a few or nearly all of them are fertilised

like blood parrots? if so arent all blood parrot males infertile? or like 99% of them. if they hatch that would be very odd

I would think if you have 2 different colored eggs theres a good chance some are fertilized. I wish you luck with them. Let us know if they hatch.

Good luck to you bro... i have not heard of a fertile male yet.... hopefully you are lucky enough! Keep us updated on the eggs.

did they eat the white eggs? theres a small chance the rest will turn white too they might have ben laid a little bit later. I had a breeding pair though that had maybe 10 out of 50 eggs turn white and the rest were fine and hatched so who knows.

good luck with everything dude
