Don't even risk moving them when their eggs, you would probaly do more harm than good. With the other tank mates you could have a problem unless the parents are agressive enough to stop the others from killing the fry.
I would just move them into a different tank. Eggs usually hatch in 2-3 days, and they will be wigglers for another 3-4 days then after that they will become free-swimming. This is at 78-80F though so lower temps. just wait a little bit longer for each stage. I've always waited till free-swimming to put into a new tank but I have never had other tank mates. So you might have to do this when their wigglers.
I just get the gravel vac out and suck them up into a diff tank. I will try and net them out if possible but sometimes it's just too much work. Most should live. Keep the fry at 80F or close to it for rapid growth and feed multiple times daily, not alot though this will pollute the water and more fry will die. Also they will start eating at the free-swimming stage not wiggler stage.
