Have an idea of what they are....want confirmation. What are they?
First pic is of the larger one....second of smaller. They change colors often. Picked them up yesterday.... I'd say 4" and 6", if anything they are larger.

stressed out johanna... second one is a male... can tell the first one... and keep an eye on him... my marmorata is a johanna killer

Both are Cr. johanna. First one's a female. Look out for the white submarginal stripe in the dorsal and the white in the caudal. I have to agree the second one's a male.

My thought was johanna. Thanks.
Dennis-Your marm will be going in a breeding tank sometime soon......

:popcorn:sweet!!

Lovely johannas! They are great pikes thats for sure! Hopefully they will get along, and if they are indeed opposite genders, pair up!!

More shots of the marm please! And use a flash or something! :p

The fish in the first pic was the dominant one when they were in my tank. The smaller one hid most of the time. The larger on actually killed a 7" silver aro I had. A lot of fighting to say the least. He was a nice fish though.

First guy still is dominant, they really change colors quite a bit. Thanks again.:)
