Red/Rainbow/Hi-fin Wolf fish tankmates?

Has anyone kept any tankmates with their Red/Rainbow/Hi-fin wolf fish? They only get to about 8-10 inches long so I was wondering if anyone has kept a Poly. senegalus or anything else along those lines with their wolf.

I probably wouldn't put anything that wasn't substantially larger than them. They have quite a good set of teeth and would try to eat fish normally considered to large for them. I have put quite large silversides (frozen, not live) which usually disappear in chunks.

The other side of the coin is that the rainbow wolf, Ery Sp. Peru is a relatively shy fish and I did have mine with a small Snakehead Channa harcourtbutleri that terrorized it and now It is all alone in its own tank.

Thanks for the post Jelly!! I think what I'm going to do is hold off on the wolf for now until I can get another tank just for it. Probably sometime around november/december.
