red sand

I have heard that red sand good for bichir's coloration and was wondering what people use. I have been looking around for it at the lfs i go to and not seeing any. thanks for the help.

I'm don't know much about birchirs but I do know any colors and can change a fishes appearance. Now for birchirs I seen a few people on YouTube use black sand too.

3m quarts brown sand worked really well for me and bichers... it looks dark red kinda...
