Red Sev Compatibility

Hey whats up all?

I am looking to add some Red Head Sevs, :drool: and was wondering if they would be ok with Juvi Cons, and a Juvi Firemouth. It's a 45 Gal Tank. I have no problem relocating any and/or all from the 45 for the Sev's.

I have a guy close by who is a dealer here, (Hint: Dragonfish) and am looking to add 3. Ideas?? I have kept monsters b4 and have a big tank running, as well as 4 other small ones. (will be adding another tank or 2 before the end of Jan).

Compatibility?
Feeding?
Hardy or Not??
Experiences??

I had a friend who raised his green sevrum in a 40 gal, I don't see any problems with it, just make sure to do weekly waterchanges with that small of a tank. Make sure to post pics when you get them

i've had sevs get 8"+. however all have been very peaceful. also with FM's they talk alot of smack, but never really "walk the walk". they more want to try to intimidate with flareing and chargeing, then back away. cons however will be relentless if they deside to breed. and cons can start breeding at like 1.5". how many cons do you have in there? reason i ask is, i wouldn't try to add sevs unless the cons are not paired up yet. i honestly feel that the 45 will be to small for all those fishes. but you said you have a larger tank up and running (for your possible "dragonfish"). maybe put the sevs in there and get them growing up, then ad the others you wanted.

are you plaining on breeding cons? if you are use that 45 for just that :) and maybe some dither fish as well. also "redhead" sev's? are you speaking of rotkeil? also what size is this larger tank?

Actually,

I have a:
125 (Ca/Sa)
45 (1 FM, 3 Female Juvi Cons)
20L (GO Tank)
10 (1 pair Cons)

and am adding:

30 (For ??)
55 (For ??)

My Wife is going to kill me with the additions. I will be moving the pair of cons to the 20L for breeding, I have no clue for the 55. I would like to put the Sevs in the 45 (That is in my Living Room and my show tank) then move the others around. The Sev's are Red's, yes they are Rotkeil. I will be geeting them from Darmali's Dragonfish. I am interested in Sevs as a alternative to the Monsters in the 125.
 
yeah i'd go with that. move the cons to the 20L or even the 30. and if your heart is set on the 45 for those sevs. then move everything else to other tanks. except if there are any dithers. your 125 by the looks of your sig, is already stocked. either the new 55 or the 45 i'd say. sounds like your working it out. gl and post some pics of the sev's when u get them :)
