red severum...???

went in to my lfs to see if they had my bichir and didnt.. so i started looking around and saw 4-5'' red severum all beat up and fins torn... i really wanted to bring him home but 30$ for a beat up fish didnt seem right just thought i share this story .

I'd pay that much for a Red Sev locally, nursing a fish back to health isn't too difficult.

i noe he was in a tank with a big bp and kept getting headbutted by it. I would buy if it were at leas 20 or less bc the juveniles in another lfs are like 12 bucks

Quality is really hard to find, but in general in my area they're just plain ole hard to find. I would expect to pay around $20-$25 online plus overnight shipping so $30 isn't too bad.

If you want him you could talk with the manager of the store and say that the fish is damaged, stressed, etc. and they might lower the price a few bucks.
