Hey Guys,

I've had this guy since he was a few inches and now he is about 8"+. He's got clouded eye (maybe something growing inside around core of the eye). Is there a way to salvage this? He's had a cloudy eye before but then it went away.

Water Quality is good, and all the other fish are fine. Even he eats and acts normal.

I don't want to part with him because out of the other Snooks I've had, he's the only one that came out "bright/pearly" colored. The other ones are a more solid color.

Beautiful specimen.

I was going to suggest maybe it scraped it somehow but that looks much worse, so not quite sure what it is. Sorry couldn't be more help, hope someone else can chime in on this.

I've seen this a lot lately... in fact my fish got a bad case of cloudy eye a while back. the best advice i got was to raise the temperature a little bit and add aquarium salt.

You know what that would make sense and thanks for the link. The only thing is the fish is max 1 1/2 years old if even that.

Good possibility though!

How old is the fish? Wonder if it could be cataract?
