Petenia splendida is their scientific name. As said, just don't keep them with any tankmates that are too much smaller than them. I have my 12-13" male in with fish down to about 3.5-4" with no problems, but there's no guarantee the same would work for someone else. You pretty much got the basics of them with the above posts. Lip-locking mates are a definate no, and make sure you have a large tank for the possible (but aquarium unseen to my knowledge) 18". Search both red snook and petenia splendida on here, you should get lots of results.
