Seems one pupil is smaller than the other, did not notice until I got him home.

gentic? Old pop eye? Stroke? Neurological deficit?

background :

two severums in a 75g by selves, weekly water changes, tank is planted running c02

tank 80f
Ph 7
Ammo 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5.0ppm

They have been acting depressed / weird ever since last spawn #5 died / they consumed.

not eating regularly , hiding out by the top behind
... they were normal just real aggro prior to losing their 5th spawn...

the guy has the small pupil eye... he just has been gyrating about....

They both were hunkered down cowering in their nest for days

What do you think?

What are the tankmates?

just plants n maybe a snail or two...

That’s the lame part, they were inhospitable towards any of the fish (2 catfish) I tried in there...

he’s just kind of listing slightly and gyrating...

do fish get post partum?

Don’t think so. Keep the water clean and just monitor for now.
