I would like to know more about them and wonderd if anyone has kept them. I also would like to know where to buy them.

They are easy keepers. They do nicely at 78-82F. about 7pH. If the water is a bit acid and dark (or you have a dark background) the colors become more intense. They are fairly peaceful and can get to 6" but 3-4" is more common. In small shoals they will pair off and lay eggs in small hollows or nesting pits. The male is a nest guarder. Feed a variety of foods as they are omnivores. They like planted tanks and use mainly mid to upper water level.

Anyone know if all Copeina sp lay eggs out of the water, or is that only C. arnoldi? I just presumed it was a genus thing.

Not all lay out of water
