Try to keep it to one thread my lad. Makes it easier to keep a track on whats going on.

Multi-threads make the forum look like a snakes wedding.

As for your problem. Their doing what Cichlids do. Hopefully it'll calm down, but we DID warn against going out to replace a fish with another fish.

Sounds like your O has taken some abuse for your old green, you removed him, put in another sev, slightly smaller, slightly brighter, in your O's eyes, its the same type of fish, hell get the same type of problem, so he really has something to prove while he can.

My breeding pair of Sevs hate ALL plecos... Same reason

Tank is rather over stocked too. Your not going to get natural behaviour from these fish in conditions like this.

Oscar alone in the 75 Gal (especially if he's showing signs of aggression)

OR

2 x Sevs in the 75 Gal, with a couple of dither fish.

OR

1 x Sev with the silver dollars, but remember they get pretty big ;)

Os and Sevs can be good tank mates... but the tanks got to be the right size.

what would make good dithers for the 2 sevs in that tank tho cuz they have one more red spot sev but what would be good dithers

Chances are that ALL red spot sevs are infact male (the markings aren't that different to the male green Peruvians) Hence, i wont touch them with a barge pole, so the chances of you getting a female are VERY slim.

Here's a pair (brother and sister ;) )

Deep bodied tetras and bards make good dithers, as do the large danios.
