hey anyone have a red star flowerhorn? i got one but not sure what exactly it is...had it two days so far and it looks good but isnt eatin completely yet....will get picks once it is settled and comes out from under its fav plant hiding place...water is good and temp at round 75 degrees...any tips? thanks gang...

yes i will get the heat up...i am tryin to get a good pic of the little guy but it is everytime i get the shot he darts off. so frustratin it is funny...i was also wonderin what this guy is suppossed to look like. that is why i started this thread. was this a good or bad pick-up for a fish? my first flowerhorn or whatever it is. it haa lot of colors though...
is this the one that is white with alot of red just past the head area? post us a pic soon, so we can see this guy.

he was without any color when first got him, then when acclimated to my tank. the eyes went from yellow to red and all the red on sides and fins came out immdiately.
Red Star is just a name the breeder gave to it. The fish is ZZ and looks good. Pump that little guy up and have fun with it
