Hey I have an amazon biotope tank with some satanoperca daemon guianacaras a gold nugget pleco and sterbai cory, I’m looking to add Festivums and possibly a group of red tail barracudas - my question is would red tail barracudas kill sterbai cories?

The red tails will most likely ignore the cories.
Thanks for the reply’s guys, I’m gonna give it a shot then once I find them for sale again. I know this doesn’t have to do with the thread but is there any open water calmer cichlid you’d reccomend? I was thinking of dantum angelfish or Festivums but I’m open to any other options too.

I’d be nervous about corys when they have the habit of darting to surface and back for air. That behaviour IMO might not be the safest with larger than half grown barracuda, say 6” or over.

Good point.I would expect for the red tails to ignore the cories if not for that behavior.
