they get t be past 13 feet (i think) and im pretty sure they are docile snakes andthe enclosure needs to be about half as long as the snake is

mine r bcc x bci and i keep them the same as commons.
they r in RUBs atm but just about to b moved in to vivs. they will eventually b in 6x2x2 vivs.
i co-habit my larger male and female.

wats the difference between red tail boas and common boas

A "common" boa is reffered to something like a Colombian or Central amrican boa. Easy to find, cheap to buy. They have red tails, just not as red as "true" red tails.SImply localities of BCI

"true" red tails would be called peruvian, suriname etc, again, localities of BCC.

There may be some true species differences but nothing major.

A BCI male will get aroud 6.5-7.5 feet with females at around 8-9. I have never sceen a 10f + regular boa. However, it is believed that the BCC females do get to the 12-13 foot mark.

They need large cages as stated. The one I built for my BCI is 72x29x18. In no way do I think they should be kept in 4 fot cages.

my friend has a 10.5ft female bcixbcc, absolute stunner. the male is only about a foot behind. largest male i think iv ever seen.
