Hi, I'm getting a red tail botia on Thursday, do they have the same care as clowns (which I already have) and will they shoal together, I know they're a lot more aggressive.
Here's a pic from the Internet, it's not mine but it looks exactly the sameImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1351329327.515739.jpg

I have 5 they r really nice... usually better off in a shoal of their own because of their aggression.... Never had them with clowns but i was told u can get lucky n the blue body loach will become one of them i would keep an eye out on him because he just might wanna beat on the clowns because they are more of a non aggression loach....

Btw out of the 5 i have one of them is the more dominant one and it pushes around all the other 4..... I have one at this moment in a qt tank from it getting beat up from the dominant one.....

All in all keep ur eye on the aggression with the blue body....
Good luck!!!! 😉

I have a school of 24 clowns and five blues living together peacefully. I agree that the blues trend to do better with their own shoal. I had originally bought six blues, but one was far too aggressive and beating up on the clowns, so I gave him to a friend with a dedicated blue tank. Individual personalities come into play.
