My brycon is constantly after my 2 hujeta's (yes i know they aren't true gar) the past few days and has been takin swipes at my payara. Brycon is about 6" which is a bit smaller than the Hujeta and a bit larger than the payara. I've heard the brycon will go after any silver fish but i've also heard of people keeping brycon and payara together succesfully. I've also got a teacup stingray in the tank which the brycon swims away from when encountering and a south american gar (also not a true gar) which he doesn't pay much attention to at the top of the water. I'm debating on getting rid of the brycon and keeping the rest or getting rid of the 2 hujeta and attempting to keep the payara and brycon together as long as there isn't TOO much aggression. The tank was succesful before introducing the brycon but i'd prefer him over the 2 hujeta if he will coexist with the payara.
Any suggestions or people with experience keeping brycon would be appreciated.
