I am the proud owner of a RTC. Unfortunately, he has grown to big for my tank. He is currently about 22" and in a 125 gallon tank. He needs a new home! Looking for $100 for him.

I live in Macomb, IL (zip 61455) about 4hrs away from Chicago, or 3hrs away from St. Louis or 1.5hrs away from the Quad Cities.

I will soon post a link to a video clip of him.

Thanks for looking!

damn thats a big RTC. I'm surprised he hasnt killed himself in that tank... i had a hybrid pushing the same size. in a 150g and he was trying to kill himself. might have been the size of the tank or the Jar that was in there. I think it was the size of the tank. I couldnt get rid of him for a price so he ended up going free...I know there was a guy on here that was collecting them for his pond...forget the name..

GL with the sale....

he is cramped in there for sure, there were two other oscars in the tank. emphasis on 'were'. the RTC didnt eat them, but bullied them until one died then the other didnt eat after the death of his oscar friend. then he later died. There is a good size pleco still in the tank with no problems.

thanks for sharing your story. i hope my cat doesnt try and kill himself until he's sold.

pleco will get eaten....mine did...lol
