i am new to this site. i have a six inch red tail cat in a 75 gallon tank at the moment. i am buying a 210 in a few weeks. i was wondering if i could add some sort of fresh water stingray with it. if the two would get along?
you need a much bigger tank then a 210 for a red tail catfish but if you got a big stingray then sure theres alot of big rays there are plenty that get 3' across and there's giant freshwater stingrays to so with a big ray then mabye but be cafull then can eat rays you wouldn't think they could but theres alot you can keep with big red tails cats like
big rays
gars
clown knife
arowana
peacock bass
I say nothing can be kept with a RTC in a 210 gallon tank. A large pond or HUGE tankis your only hope. My 18" RTC is already trying to eat my 20" TSN in my 265 gallon tank. I dont think its possible yet but he is sure trying. Good thing my TSN is fast and has an attitude
You need a minimum 10ftx4ft tank or pond to house these fish in the long run. Of course these measurements are small compared to a 3ft RTC, anything bigger is better.
The 210 may last him until he gets 18-24" or so. Half the size of his total.
thanks guys, i have been planing all along to have something much larger then the 210. something huge built into the wall when i buy a house in a year or so. then turn the 210 into a small reef tank.
