Red Tail Catfish Gill Problem urgent please help!!!!

In the video you can see how the right hand side gill goes in further than the left one this problem started a couple of days ago, he stopped eating and also seemed to be regurgitating,

Can someone please help asap with suggestiosn etc all help would be appreciated

What size is that tank?? Looks like its a 55 gallon. RTC grow to an enormous size and require very large aquariums.

Gill curl am guessing. U need a much bigger tank though like said above. 500+g plus not really about the gallons more of the dimensions.

Gill curl? Unfortunately it is all too common in RTCs, water changes and high oxygen levels would help if it is gill curl.

problem now sorted thankyou for replys, turnt the air pump on after posting this first message and withhin the hour he was breathng fine and a couple hours later he was eating, tank has 50% water a change a week minimum as is, tank is 50 gallons and was a grow out one new tank should be in place within couple of weeks, thanks for the help guys
