I bought this RTC when it was 3 inches and unfortunately I hadn't done research before buying and I can no longer provide a good and happy life for the fish. If is an amazing animal and one of my favorite fish I have ever owned. It is around 6.5 to 7 inches long and will eat pretty much anything it thinks smells good. He will eat straight out of the hand. It is healthy and has not contracted any diseases since I bought him including the gill disease that causes the gill covers to pop out. ( cant remember what its called ). I am not experienced enough to know how much to sell this catfish for so I will most likely accept any reasonable offer. I paid $30 for it and its grown around 3 inches. Please no low balling. I will only sell if you can properly take care of it or if you are better off with it than I am. These fish get massive so they require a pond or a 700 plus gallon tank for a full grown adult. a smaller tank will do for the time being. contact me at wesleymertz@gmail.com. I can't figure how to edit my post but I have decided to give the RTC away for free to anybody who will pick it up! Its' got to go because he just managed to swallow a 9-10 inch violet goby! Please people, it needs a new, better home!
