Are you saying the other fish are stressed, indicating they are having problems as well? Sorry, I didn't quite understand. In any case, assuming Ammonia and Nitrite are zero, with Nitrate under 20, and you're feeding him a good, varied diet, IIt's best to stay away from feeders -- they're not necessary in the least, and only introduce parasites) RTCs do shed their slime coat from time to time when young. Mine did it twice during the time he was about eight inches to a foot long, and he hasn't any more.

No more stress in the tank but RTC is the only fish in tank losing slime coat losing it again today so a total of 3 days now that the coating has come off......
