IVE GOT A 14" RTC AND IM RESCUING A 18" RTC THIS SATURDAY. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WILL THEY LIVE TOGETHER OR IS THERE A CHANCE RTC FIGHT EACH OTHER.

Welcome To MFK!!!

I've kept multiple RTCs together with no battling whatsoever. I hope you have a huge tank/pond for these brutes. If anything, to reduce water parameter shifts from the huge bio"loads" they put out.

I have been fascinated with red tails for years, but always known that i will never have room until i move out so was wondering what tanks size is the limit to keep a adult?
anyhelp will be appreciated

Should be a minimum of 4ft. x 8ft. x 3ft. that's assuming your redtail won't get much larger than 4 ft. You can always start them off in a smaller aquarium and upgrade to larger and larger aquariums as they need it. A good rule of thumb is if they are longer than the tank is from front to back then you need a bigger tank. Also if you have the space a large cattle trough or homeade pond of 8ft. dia or larger would work better than aqaurium. Good luck!

30 yrds x 5 yds x 6feet deep :) Just thought i'd throw a funny in LOL..

:screwy: you just wish you had a tank that big!!!! lol. Hmmmm, we should start a thread what would you keep in a 30 yd. x 5yd. x 6ft. aquarium! lol
