Red Tail Cats and Hybrid RTC feeding frenzy

Quick video of our wild caught Peruvian RTC, RTC/TSN hybrid, and a couple other roc’s. This is our larger in ground, well fed, filtered pond that is probably 18k-30k gallons. The biggest cat we have is Ziggy, the Peruvian RTC that is only 2 years old. He/She is definitely a monster grower.

I don’t think there is really much difference other than the location where the batch of fry were supposedly caught. That being said he/she definitely grew incredibly fast, even for a rtc.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I always see Peruvian rtc and wonder what he difference is.
