Hi guys

I was at my LFS at the weekend and they had a baby RTC that looked a little different. When I asked they said it was a cross with.........I cant remember! I said shovel nose and he said not. It was crossed with a much smaller fish that apperently stunted its growth? Any thoughts that could jog my poor memory:thumbsup:

maybe but i have never heard of a nother hybrid and i love the cats

Im going back tomorrow so I will ask, thanks for the input:thumbsup:
He said it was crossed with somthing thats max size was less then 12" so in theory kept the max size of the whole fish down. He was treating it as an odball and did give the info out with a raised eyebrow. I dont think he trusted the supplier. He had RTC's and shovel nose's in at the time and this cat was alot cheaper, cheapest cat I have seen for along time. Im a newbie to cats but if this thing wont grow past 14" I would like to keep it:confused: How big do RTC X shovels grow to?

I know that there are 3 hybrids of RTCs out there. One is crossed with a TSN another with a Marble, and the last one is...I can't seem to remember, but I'm sure it's something that gets over a foot:confused:

Im near s****horpe/hull/grimsby way on! The LFS is in Brigg, its a frost's garden center. There amazing for getting different stock in and some mad rare/odd ball stuff. Not to mention alot of my beloved L's have come from there. Where abouts are you?
