Red tail cuda vs scomb payara

Idk about red tail cuda, but I had a yellowtail cuda and it was amAzing to watch feed, more active hunter than my payara.

Really? I've seen how payaras eat and it looks like they take quite a while as for the cuda I see them dart straight to their target

Well my payara seems to wait for my bass and pikes to feed than it hits the krill. My cuda would never take any food unless it was alive. I lost it because it started picking off one of my pair of festaes fry as soon as the started free swimming. I immediately sucked the fry out, but my pair killed the cuda the next day. I miss that cuda, I will gra the next one I see for my show tank..

I like the Cudas. Neither of those fish are super active when not feeding, but the Cuda seems to move more.
During feesing the cuda is pretty impressive compared to the tetra but when it comes to after and before the cuda is way more skiddish then the tetra but remeber all fish have their own personalities!
I feel at a young age
redtails are boring but as they get bigger and fill out more instead of having that pencil look they get way more ambitious, but that's just from my experience.
