Red tail giant gourami

i have a 7'' red tail giant gourami and the only tank mate it has is a gold spot pleco
can you guys share your rtgg experiences with me and could you also recommend me some tank mates

I used to have a 12" in a 180g and I've successfully kept him with bichirs without a single problem

I keep mine with phase. Oscars. Green terror. Motaguense. He is 9" and pretty nasty

Hi Mate nice RTGG I have kept Tinfoil Barbs with all species of GGs and they seem to add movement to the tank when the GGs are just chillin or digesting copius amounts of food. As for aggresion the Gouramis I had would bully everything except Tinfoils. Good Luck Enjoy your GG.

Mine is 10" kept with 13" Oscar, three 10" cichla, 8" female red tiger motaguense, 7" male green terror and 16" pleco. No fighting. 180 gal
