No im pretty sure Osphronemus Laticlavius is a naturally occuring species of gourami.

Nope naturally occuring.

some other info on them, i know they tend to be smaller than O. Gouramy and are found in northern borneo. Like O. Gouramy they eat just about anything.

Check this out. I took this video in a hotel in Vietnam. It was a huge terrarium room with a pond containing two or three Giant Gouramis and a bunch of Koi.
