Not sure if this is the right forum but I noticed today that one of the spines(?) At the very tip of my retropinnis's tail is lined with red. It's difficult to see in the pic but it's bright red and only on that one spine. I haven't been home all day so I didn't see if it was an injury. Any thoughts? I'm going out of town for the weekend and my dad is coming by to check them but can't do anything complicated. Thoughts? 75g, 0 ammonia, 20 nitrates, 2 weekly water changes of 40%. Tank mates include 3 other polys, ctenopoma and 3 synodontis cats.

That looks like a bitr most likely from the Senegal getting a bit territorial.

Nothing to sorry about it will heal in no time.

Thanks for the quick response guys! They do get nippy. I was just worried since I'm headed out of town.
