my smallest red tailed payara and my silver dollars are being torn up by possibly my massive red tail wat should i do to heal them and prevent fungus and cure any fungus:nilly:.should i do a water change add new water add stress coat wich is supposed to also heal tissue, and add some healing salt and if so how much salt per 10 gallons i dont want to lose any of these guys

Do a waterchange, add some aquarium salt. I never use any of the chemicals unless absolutly needed.

Edit: Start with 1tbsp per 10 gal and take it from there.

^^^This.

Also, caution is advisable when mixing any smaller fish with a payara. Silver dollars and baby payara are natural prey items for a large payara and the only way to get around this is to separate the small fish and powerfeed them to allow them to catch up in size. The big tat will continue to try to eat them until they are too large to be considered food items.

Also, payaras are known to be aggressive towards other silvery fish.

Payaras have the healing power of wolverine. You really don't have to do anything, they will heal on their own providing that water quality is on point (which it should be).
