I recently bought a red tail payara and noticed the tip of his tail fin is bent. Will this heal? What causes this? He acts fine and is eating guppies good

what do you mean his tail is bent? nipped or... curled? pictures would definitely help to clarify
Its curled at the tip and his anal fin is bent sideways also? I will post pics when I figure out how to on my phone..
