Red tailed botia's not growing?

I have 4 red tailed botia's in a tank with an Oscar and ebjd. The botia have been in the tank the longest, about a year. I got them at like 2-3 inches but after all this time the biggest one is still only about 4 inches.
There is literally zero aggression between them and the cichlids, they totally ignore each other. Every now and than one of the botia's will chase another for a few seconds but that's uncommon.

What's going on here? I thought they were fast growers, and that they get huge.

That's pretty Interesting. Yes its true they are fast growers as mine are. Have had mine since about 1-1.5" and 2 months later they are about 4-4.5"

One point I forgot to mention is that they often seem to like hiding and squeezing into crevices. I have several rock and drift wood structures, and they will sometimes slide into spots that are shockingly tiny.

What are you feeding them to get them to grow so much?
