I just got two Festae(red terrors) about 3 days ago. I have not seen them eat much. I have Freeze dried brine shirmp, Blood worms, Chchlid pellets. I have tried.. They don't like coming to the top of the tank and the pellets that sink they don't seem to want. I have some molly fry I could try but not sure if its a good Idea.. I also have frozen brine shrimp as well I have not tried yet. Any ideas on how to help would be good. Thanks guys. If it helps they are wild caught. and The big male is 3.5 inches and the smaller female is only 2.5-3 inches.

Give them time to settle in.

thats wierd cause i just bought 5 wild festae the same size and dont have a problem feeding them they eat everything i give them and i feed them the same foods. whats your temp at? do you have spots for them to hide? are they the only fish in the tank? this is my second batch of festae i owned and they are following suit just like my first batch.
I agree with chinook and let them settle. heres a pic of my festae pair from the first batch. male is almost 9" and female is 6.5" in this pic. good luck

i had the same problem with the third little guy i got after a few days he was eating started with flakes till it increased his appetite now he eats everything...

relax, just give 'em time to settle in. they can survive for like almost a month w/o food. @ their size, i would call them "terror" yet lol

my girl had a problem eating after I introduced a new fish. Lasted almost a month. It just took a while but she started eating again
