anyone know what they would look like?
I came home today to tons of eggs and looks like female is still laying them. the female is a red texas and the male is a red terror. it was an accidental pair. I just moved the red terror into my red texas tank about 2 days ago due to its aggression toward his female. now today he has cornered off one side of a 240 with the red texas and nothing is allowed over on that end of the tank. I am not sure if they are fertile since its a red texas cross but if they are I will be quite happy to see how they turn out.

I would love to see them too!.. Keep us updated please, I lookforward to seeing them.

Saw it done once and really didn't care for the out come. Of corse the RT was not fully faded either though. I personally think the Red Terror FH cross are better looking and still not to hot on them. Only speaking from the ones I saw though. Hey maybe yours will turn out better?

well if anything they may be food. but like I said, I am unsure if they can even be fertile however if they are regardless of the outcome I have a nice fertile red tex female and I will attempt to pair her up with a really nice male.

well most of the eggs are white now. It seems everytime I go and check them more and more are white
the parents are still guarding however. :(

just wanted to update this post. all the eggs did turn white and was all for not. however about 2 weeks later they did it again and 3 days later I had a few hundred wigglers now they are about .25-.5" and doing great. I still have atleast 300 or more :) I will get pics as soon as they get a little more size on them.
