I am looking for a fish to add to my gold wolf and parrot tank. I have always wanted a red terror, but honestly do not know much about them. How aggressive are these guys?

It depends, each fish is different. I will use mine as an example.. When I first had them, they were in a community tank with a variety of non aggressive fish. They were perfectly fine...calm. Then as my pair formed all hell broke loose.

So I guess what I'm trying to say it varies from fish to fish.

and are you referring to blood parrots? I"d assume so but you know what happens when you assume. Also what size tank. :)

I don't know much about gold wolf fish but in a 90g tank, I'd recommend a female Festae because males get much larger. Some Festae can be extremely aggressive and others more mild. I got lucky with mine, they don't kill all their tankmates. Another thing, with multiple large fish in a 90, you'll need lots of filtration and lots of water changes....how many BP's do you have?

I have three bp. The tank is pretty well filtered and I do a lot of water changes on the tank.

It might be ok when you upgrade to the 120g, but see if you can get a 180...it's only 2' longer but makes a huge difference.

I had a high Fin Rainbow Wolf (ery ery) work with a breeding pair of Salvini in 75 gal.
I've also dropped my 16" (Holpi Mala) Common Wolf in w/ a pair of Festae in a 150XH - this was a fabulous disaster. The Festae got the crap kicked out of them. It's hard to say whats gonna be compatible with what esp. with highly aggressive fish. On the upside Gold Wolves shoal w/ other Golds, an uncommon trait within this species.
